Direct buses from Antalya bus station to Bezirgan via Elmali with Bati Antalya take 4-and-a-half hours, first bus 08.40, last bus 15.15.
Buses from Antalya bus station to Kalkan via the coast road every hour during the day, last bus leaves at 17.30. Journey time 5-and-a-half hours.
Bezirgan is on the section between Kalkan and Kas, and we are about five minutes' walk off the signposted Lycian Way. As you come down off the mountains into the valley, you arrive at a group of small wooden huts, which are grain stores. Follow our sign onto the left hand dirt track which hugs the foot of the mountain (NOT the tarmac road), and we are 600m along on the left side.
From Antalya Direct buses to Bezirgan via Elmali with Bati Antalya, journey 4-and-a-half hours, first bus 08.40, last bus 15.15.
Buses via the coast road every hour to Kalkan, journey approx 5-and-a-half hrs.
From Fethiye every hour to Kalkan, journey approx 2 hrs, then Gömbe Tur bus for Elmali from Kalkan bus station to Bezirgan
From Istanbul direct to Kalkan once a day, journey approx 15 hrs

The mountain road is the best except during bad weather in winter, when we would recommend the coast road.
200km, approx 3 hrs 15 mins drive
Leave the airport, and follow the signs for DENIZLI or BURDUR or OTOGAR (otogar is Bus Station, and it's well-signed).
After about 6km you reach a large roundabout which comprises a huge water fountain; turn right, still signed DENIZLI or BURDUR and OTOGAR. A couple of kms further on, the next roundabout has a statue of Ataturk on a horse; again turn right, still signed DENIZLI or BURDUR and OTOGAR.
Just ahead you will pass the otogar (bus station) on your left. Keep straight on.
Now follow the signs for DENIZLI and KORKUTELI; about 4km further on the road divides, turn LEFT, signed KORKUTELI and ELMALI.
Once you reach KORKUTELI, (about an hour), follow the signs for ELMALI.
Immediately before Elmali, there is a roundabout. Take the KAS road. Drive 3 km, turn right, signposted KAS. After 30 mins, pass the village of GOMBE; there is a new huge dam on your right. A few km further on the road forks, with a huge timber depot on the left. Take the right fork & now follow the signs for KALKAN.
Pass through the village of SUTLEGEN. Drive about 30 mins, and as you drive downhill, pass a sign on your right saying "Kalkan 17km". BEZIRGAN now faces you at the bottom of the hill. At the foot of the hill, turn right, signposted BEZIRGAN. Drive 1 km, turn right, signed OWLSLAND, and we're on your right.
Should you drive too fast and miss the signs, ending up in the centre of Bezirgan, ask anybody for Erol, and they'll get you here!
Follow the coast road through FINIKE AND KAS. About 25km outside Kas on this road, you will pass a large official town sign saying "Bezirgan" - ignore it and keep going! As you approach KALKAN, don't turn left down into the town centre, go straight ahead, which takes you on to the new (and very wide) road.
Arrive at the traffic lights, with the petrol station immediately on your left. Take the right at the lights, follow the huge signpost "ELMALI" onto the old road, and go up the hill for about 1 km.
Arrive at a "Y" junction. Ignore the left turn for Fethiye, go straight ahead up the hill, signposted SUTLEGEN and ELMALI. On your left is a glazier's, a huge new red-painted building. The sea is on your right.
Continue up the hill for 10 km, turn left at the "T" junction, (which may or may not be signposted ELMALI). After the crest of the hill, the road starts to drop, BEZIRGAN is now on your left.
Continue downhill, the road does a dog-leg to the left at the bottom. Continue, and you are driving two sides of a square round Bezirgan. Just before the road starts to climb again, turn left, signposted BEZIRGAN. Drive 1 km, turn right, signed OWLSLAND, and we're on your right.
Should you drive too fast and miss the signs, ending up in the centre of Bezirgan, ask anybody for Erol, and they'll get you here!
Dalaman : 160 km, approx 2hr 15mins. Fethiye: 95 km, approx 1 hr 30mins drive
From Dalaman, go through the new tunnel (which has a toll, but saves a long drive), and follow the signs for FETHIYE and KAS. From Fethiye, follow the signs for KAS and/or KALKAN. After about 1 hour, you arrive at entry to the village of YESILKOY, ignore the signed turn off to the left into that village, and continue straight ahead onto the huge newly built road signed for Kalkan.
This new road climbs up, and once you arrive at the crest of the hill, you will see Kalkan and the sea below you. The road then drops towards Kalkan, and you arrive at the set of traffic lights (there is only one set).
Turn LEFT there, following the huge sign for "ELMALI" onto the old road, leaving the sea and Kalkan behind you, and drive up the hill for 1 km. Reach a "Y" junction, ignore the left turn for Fethiye, go straight ahead up the hill, signposted SUTLEGEN and ELMALI. On your left is a glazier's, a huge new red-painted building.
